Class 2 – Cut Flowers
Preparing Flowers for Exhibition
Pick the flowers the night before and place in warm water. Let stand overnight in a cool place (garage or basement). Remove any dead heads or dead leaves.
1. A bloom – A single flower, no added greens.
2. A stem – whole stem with leaves and one or more flowers.
3. All flowers, except for artistic arrangements, must be grown by the exhibitors.
4. Containers will be furnished for all entries in Class 2.

Class 4 –Interpretive Creative Arrangements
This class encourages creative and imaginative use of plant materials around a theme. Entries will be limited to the themes listed. “Unclassified” entries will not be accepted in this class.
Interpretive arrangements can be shown in any suitable container, not to exceed 30” long and 18” wide. Fresh cut plant material and/or dried plant material must be included. Supplementary plant parts such as foliage, seeds, berries, fruits, grasses, weathered wood and other natural plant parts are permitted. Artificial foliage, flowers, etc. are not allowed.
Please, do not include any wild flowers or any plants classified as noxious weeds by the County or State.
